About the European Green Academy (EGA)

The European Green Academy is a pivotal gathering for Green actors and engaged citizens from across Europe, providing a unique opportunity to connect, debate, and build capacities. In the post-EU election context, the academy will be an essential forum to deepen our understanding of the political landscape and to discuss forward-thinking ideas on critical topics such as the Green and Social Deal, Peace & Security, and Democracy.

Join us to pave the way for the next EU mandate through a diverse range of formats, from plenaries to workshops and training sessions. The event will feature leading voices from the Green movement, civil society, activism, and academia, offering a platform for political education and alliance-building with diverse communities. This will be a pivotal moment to reflect on the future of Europe, engage in meaningful debates, and gain inspiration from a variety of perspectives.

Activist Training Day at EGA

On Sunday 24 November, GEF is extending a special invitation to 50 young activists: Join us for a tailor-made training day focused on building resilience and activist tools to deepen your impact in the green movement. As a participant, you will benefit from expert-led training and peer-to-peer learning, as well as having the opportunity to meet high-profile and inspiring actors, and actively contribute to the overall European Green Academy programme.

The Activist Training Day forms part of our European Green Academy programme and provides a space and forum for young activists to conclude their Academy journey with skills building and activation strategies to put their learning into action.
